When do you think you will be ready for the Practical day, it needs to be a date after you complete the Theory written work plus complete the Study. This is a pencil booking only to assist us in pre-planning - it can be changed later.

Trainers will go anywhere. For Practicals held outside Fremantle metro area, you, the student must arrange and pay for transport, (and if needed, accommodation) to regional and remote areas. So either you come to us, or you organise and pay for the trainers transport and accommodation. This makes it cheaper for you as 2 or 3 students can share 1 trainers transport cost making it far cheaper than 3 of you all coming to us.

The required book, the Australian Boating Manual by Dick Gandy can be purchased as a Hard Copy (HC) or as a Digital Copy (DC) eBook. You can also purchase both. The eBook is best as it can be searched quickly. It can be loaded into 1 computer or tablet only where it then becomes locked. RST Workbook - available free from Dept of Transport RST revision DVD - free from all boating shops, BCF etc Also: Flip cards or apps to study: Buoyage system, Sound and Light Signals, Rules of the road, Lights and Shapes These can be studied by various methods. How you choose to study these is up to you - but you MUST know them all. You will be tested in the Dept of Transport as they will do a Final Assessment, and these will play a large part.
